Paranormal Perception Crew (PPC)

Equipment:

Dowsing Rods – A device used to find underground water and/or underground minerals. Some use dowsing rods to detect graves and/or the presence of energy thought to be spirits.

Ouija Board/ Planchette –  possibly derived from the French and German words for "yes", oui and ja), also known as a spirit/fire key board or talking board, is a flat board marked with the letters of the alphabet, the numbers 0-9, the words 'yes' 'no' 'hello' and 'goodbye', and other symbols and words are sometimes also added to help personalize the board. It is a registered trademark of Hasbro Inc. ", which markets and distributes the Ouija Board as part of its line of board games. It uses a planchette (small heart-shaped piece of wood) or movable indicator to indicate the spirit's message by spelling it out on the board during a séance. The fingers of the séance participants are placed on the planchette, which then moves about the board to spell out words or become physically manifested. It has become a trademark that is often used generically to refer to any talking board.

Real Time Voice Recorder – A digital voice recorder that allows you to hear EVP’s as they are captured.

Digital Voice Recorder -A sound recording device most commonly used to record speech for later playback or to be typed into print. It includes digital voice recorders and tape recorders.

EVP Field Processor - developed by Larry Odien for the American Paranormal Research Association. The EFP is a modified digital audio recorder that provides a real-time visual display of the sounds recorded.

Spirit Box  -  It uses radio frequency sweeps to generate white noise which theories suggest give some entities the energy they need to be heard. When this occurs you will sometimes here voices or sounds coming through the static in an attempt to communicate.

Ovilus II - The Ovilus has an embedded database of words. It contains an EMF Meter. These readings are combined to create a number and this number is used to reference a database of words. The Ovilus then "speaks" that word. An Ovilus can also operate in a phonetic mode that reacts to EMF variations to create words that are not in the database. There are other types of the Ovilus device, including the Paranormal Puck, Video Ovilus, Ovilus I, Ovilus II, Ovilus FX, Ovilus X (pictured above right),Talker, and The PX.

Jacobs Ladder - the Jacob's Ladder works via an electrical discharge (spark) forming between  two copper rods.  This in turn  energizes the surrounding atmosphere which then literally feeds the nearby entities with incredible amounts of pure energy. Enabling an entity wishing to communicate to do so more easily than depending upon their natural state's energy allowances.

MEL Meter – A device that measures electromagnetic energy and temperature and shows readings in a visual display.

EMF Detector – Measures Electromagnetic Energy

Natural EMF Meter -  It detects changes in extremely weak static (DC or "natural") electric and magnetic fields, and signals with both a tone and the movement of a needle-type gauge if either the electric or magnetic field changes from previous levels. A radio and microwave detector is also included, which reads radio power directly.

EMF Pump – A device that emits electromagnetic energy

Tri Field Meter - measures all three types of electromagnetic field: AC magnetic field, AC electric field, and radio (including microwaves)

Magnetic Anomaly Detection System (MADS) - is an instrument used to detect minute variations in the Earth's magnetic field.

K2 Meter - uses flashing lights to signal an increase in electromagnetic energy.

Geiger Meter - also called a Geiger-Müller counter, is a type of particle detector that measures ionizing radiation. They detect the emission of nuclear radiation: alpha particles, beta particles or gamma rays.

Infrared Video Camera – Records video footage. A device that forms an image using infrared radiation, similar to a common camera that forms an image using visible light. Instead of the 450–750 nanometer range of the visible light camera, infrared cameras operate in wavelengths as long as 14,000 nm (14 µm).

Infrared Digital Still Camera – Takes still images. A device that forms an image using infrared radiation, similar to a common camera that forms an image using visible light. Instead of the 450–750 nanometer range of the visible light camera, infrared cameras operate in wavelengths as long as 14,000 nm (14 µm).

Full Spectrum Camera  - Full Spectrum Cameras photograph the entire light spectrum. This includes infrared light, ultraviolet light and the visual light that we can see.

Thermal Imaging Camera - Extremely valuable to paranormal investigators. Because thermal imaging cameras look at heat, not light, they can be used in total darkness. Furthermore, there are many documented instances of entities that are invisible to the naked eye being recorded by a thermal imaging camera.

Point Of View Camera – Shows camera angles that record the scene from a particular person's viewpoint.

Motion  Detector - A device that contains a physical mechanism or electronic sensor that quantifies motion that can be either integrated with or connected to other devices that alert the user of the presence of a moving object within the field of view.

Laser Grid - This high powered laser emits a grid of green dots useful for detecting shadows or general visual disturbances during an investigation. Set it in front of a running camera to catch potential evidence.
